Glasgow-based producer Wuh Oh has released new single ‘Zita’ this week.

Combining gospel and Middle Eastern melodies with heavy drums, ‘Zita’ is euphoric and driving. Wuh Oh, aka Peter Ferguson, commented, “‘Zita’ is the sacred music playing from a shadow temple in a different, darker dimension. Even when the choir enters and light momentarily breaks through the darkness, the voices are warped, as if reaching us only in distorted echoes from a distant past.”

‘Zita’ is Ferguson’s second single of 2020, following on from the sassy, percussive ‘How Do You Do It?’ His 2019 single ‘Pretty Boy’ was remixed by fellow Scotsman Hudson Mohawke.

Ferguson has also supported the likes of Orbital, Com Truise and DJ Shadow on tour, and was due to play a slew of festivals this summer.

Wuh Oh was also named one of Mixmag’s six artists to check out in December 2019.
