Seven bouncers have been charged for an assault on an 18-year-old outdoors Manchester nightclub Factory 251.

Joe Sharrat, an academy rugby league participant for St. Helens, suffered critical head accidents and was taken to hospital after the incident on December 2.

Two of the bouncers - Gareth Carr, 20, and Amjad Yasin, 27, have been charged with assault and affray.

Lee Clark, 41, Imran Ilyas, 40, Mohammed Saleem, 21, Mohammed Abdullah, 30, and Javad Bolagh, 23, have been charged with affray.

All seven have been bailed and are attributable to seem in Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on April 23.

Professional Security, the agency the bouncers labored for, sacked all workers concerned days after the incident. Factory 251 additionally terminated its contract with the safety agency.

Factory 251 was the previous dwelling of iconic Manchester label Factory Records.
