If Steve Aoki is known for one thing, it is a love of experimentation. The producer/DJ has time and time again gone far outside of his comfort zone to experiment with new sounds. Steve was the first artist to wholeheartedly embrace the EDM/Rap crossover movement. While artists before him obviously explored the genre bend, he took it the extra mile by producing an entire album in the paradigm.

Recently Steve has been working back in the world of EDM. In his latest release alongside vocalist, Ina Wroldsen Steve explores a chilled out pop crossover sound. How does the tune live up to his recent hard-hitting releases? Let's take a look.

Steve Aoki – ‘Lie To Me' featuring Ina Wroldsen

‘Lie To Me' is a reasonably complex song. Upon the first listen I felt that it was nothing out of the ordinary, but upon a second and third listen I was surprised at the amount Steve fit into this tune. The bouncing, persistent house beat is perfectly accompanied by standout vocals from Ina Wroldsen. This track has a beautiful depth to it.

The real question stands though, how does Steve find the time to collaborate with some many talented artists? We may never know, but let's hope he keeps the quality content rolling in. Check out the track below.
