After yesterday’s stunning announcement that Pendulum has an album on the way, Rob Swire confirmed that The Reworks is in fact, as many suspected, a remix album. He continued on to say “and then new music n stuff at some point yay”… we know the pace Swire works at, so we aren’t holding our breath for a full original album before the end 2018, but at the same time, we want it bad.
On another note, one the artists on the remix album has essentially just confirmed his participation in it Grabbitz. There’s no word yet on what part he’ll play – if he’s doing a full remix on his own or something else – but he’ll be on it.
Thanks to the fans at /r/Pendulum, we can also guess a few other artists and tracks on the album (none these have been confirmed): Pegboard Nerds “Witchcraft” remix, Noisia “Hold Your Colour” remix, Matrix & Futurebound “Watercolour” remix, Ekali “The Island” remix, The Prototypes “Blood Sugar” remix.
All will be revealed March 16, or perhaps a bit earlier.
