South Beach nightclub Mokai Lounge is currently under fire for an animal stunt gone wrong that has gone viral on social media. The video shows a horse in the loud nightclub visibly distressed and flailing, endangering the attendees as well as itself.

It wasn’t long before Miami ficials responded and immediately revoked the club’s business license. As a result, the club is now shut down, and the revocation is permanent – though, the club can appeal the decision.

“I was disgusted and fended that any legitimate businessperson would think this was an appropriate action to take,” City Manager Jimmy Morales says in a release. “This activity was not permitted, and as soon as we became aware, I immediately instructed staff to act swiftly in remedying this situation.”

Despite constant criticism on all its social media platforms from animal rights activists and socially conscious humans, Mokai has yet to make a statement regarding the stunt.

You can see the horse in question in the video below (note: the video is not graphic, but it may be hard to watch for some individuals).
