It is no secret that Martin Garrix is kind a big deal in the world EDM. He is constantly releasing some the most infectious tracks, and continues to sell out arenas all over the world. Earlier this week Martin closed down the winter Olympic games with a powerful set that was seen by millions all over the world. Many would say that is a pretty incredible honor and float on the high for quite sometimes. Still, just a few days past his historic performance, Martin has been given another reason to celebrate…two reasons actually.

His single alongside Troye Sivan, ‘There For You', just received gold recognition by the RIAA. This means the track sold over half a million copies in the United States. That wasn't even the biggest award Garrix enjoy this week. His single with Dua Lipa, ‘Scared To Be Lonely' reached platinum status in the states this week as well. Which means the record sold over 1 million copies since it's release.

In a world that is dominated by streaming services – selling 1 million copies a single is a true accomplishment. Shout out to the Martin Garrix hub as always for the most up to date information on EDM's golden boy.
