Coconut Beats boss and BBC Essential Mix of the Year 2018 winner HAAi has put out a stunning "requiem for a remix" of Maribou State's track 'Vale' from the UK duo's latest album 'Kingdom's In Colour'. “I wanted to give a broken n trippy club feel to what is originally a really pretty tune,” says HAAi when explaining the process behind her latest track. “I think it’s quite a wild ride."

The new tune comes ahead of the official release of 'Kingdoms In Colour Remixes' on Counter Records - set to drop on May 10. The nine-track LP features new remixes from Mano Le Tough, Skinny Pelembe, Juju & Jordash and Mount Liberation Unlimited. Previous remixes of Maribou State's 2018 album from electronic music all-stars such as Adesse Versions, DJ Tennis and Maceo Plex (whose remix of 'Nervous Tics' premiered on Mixmag) will also appear on the album.

Maribou State will also return to North America this fall with their biggest run of shows to date. Listen to HAAi's percussive remix of 'Vale' below check out Maribou State's North American tour dates here.
