Gorillaz have paid tribute to Tony Allen, who recently passed away, with the release of a new collaborative single made with the legendary Nigerian drummer and Skepta.

The track was written and recorded in London just before the coronavirus lockdown began.

Allen worked regularly with Gorillaz founder Damon Albarn through his career, including in supergroup The Good, the Bad & the Queen alongside The Clash’s bassist Paul Simonon and Simon Tong, guitarist from The Verve.
