The five winners of International Music Summit (IMS) and Mixmag’s Visionaries Contest, targeted at young people between the ages of 18 and 25, discussed their ideas for the future of electronic music at a panel last month.

The panel consisted of A&R manager and founder of New Gen Caroline Simionescu-Marin, DJ, host and cultural events curator Jay Jay Revlon, Brainchild creative director Marina Blake, DJ and radio presenter Martha Pazienti Caidan and CEO of Identification of Music Group Robbie Murch. The talk was moderated by Mixmag TV’s Jaguar Bingham.

Some of the key takeaways of the talk came at the end when each panel member was asked to suggest what change they would like to see develop over the next five years. Responses ranged from greater visibility of women in music to a flawless peer to peer network ID service.
