Last week Crystal Skies dropped a remix Blink, the Protoype & Kezwik track featuring Aislinn Martin. The duo have been making some jaw-dropping music for years, and are primed for a break out year. With a slew never ending releases in dynamic originals as well as some the best remixes I have ever heard, Crystal Skies work ethic must be unmatched.
This rendition Blink immediately starts with a boost energy provided by beautiful guitar work and some hi-hat runs alluding to a Trap song. However, after the build, the drop hits modifying the track from Dubstep to the more expansive landscape Melodic Dubstep. The synths push and pull sound in different directions over top massive chord stacks. Crystal Skies produced a bit a genre-melting melodic dubstep future bass concoction with this one.
