Duke & Jones – Dystopia EP

Duke & Jones have formally arrived, and we couldn’t be happier. The UK Based duo has already launched an official remix for Zedd, in addition to performed their debut present in assist of Zeds Dead at Ministry Of Sound.

Having established themselves as a duo to be careful by releases like their observe Tusk‘, and Eclipse EP, they proceed the development of releasing high quality music by their new Dystopia EPIf you’re a fan of Duke & Jones, you’re gonna love this one, if not put together to turn out to be one.

Fade To Black

The first observe on the EP is ‘Fade To Black’, and was really launched as a single within the buildup to the EP’s launch. ‘Fade To Black’ options Rohaan on the vocals, and he or she’s an ideal match for this banger. If that is the primary observe you’ve ever heard from the Manchester duo, that is nice.

The observe options an awesome vocal, with deep lyrics, simply making it my favourite observe of theirs. Like their earlier releases, the drop is out of this world and doesn't comply with the favored sound/format that we’ve come to anticipate from bass music. Duke & Jones are producing music that seems like nobody else, and this is the reason they're shining brightly.

Rust

‘Rust’ is the subsequent observe on the EP, and it's simply distinctive as Fade To Black’. The first drop hits and its fueled by percussive hits. When the second drop hits, it sounds such as you’ve bought a drunken Yoshi behind the Decks and it really works.

Nobody Else

Next up is ‘Nobody Else’, and this one begins a bit slower. It is at 00:25 that we get the primary influence, and from right here the observe begins to construct. At 00:48 we get the drop and its unreal. Full of gradual wobbles, percussion, and vocal chops it continues the development of distinctive, power crammed sounds.

Higher

Last however not least is the fourth and ultimate observe. This is a KAKU collab, titled ‘Higher’. ‘Higher’ options some quicker wobbles, candy percussion, and a few cool growls on the drop.

After having listened to this Four-track EP in its entirety, I feel it's straightforward to see why massive identify artist such as Zeds Dead, Diplo, Zedd, Anna Lunoe, Oliver Heldens, and even DJ Pauly D, have begun to assist Duke & Jones. Dystopia is out now on Dead Beats, and might be streamed under.
