Listen to an epic new ‘Blade Runner’ remix from Maceo Plex

Mixmag favourite Maceo Plex has dropped a new remix of Remake's cult track 'Blade Runner' as part of Renaissance’s ‘The ReMix Collection’ series.

Premiering last month on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show, the new track titled 'Blade Runner' (Maceo Plex Renaissance Remix) sees the techno titan channel his love for the iconic film and indeed the iconic cut into the new remix offering.

Discussing his involvement in the series and the inspiration behind his reimaging press release Maceo Plex explained, “The original Vangelis, soundtrack for the movie Blade Runner is my all-time favourite cinema soundtrack and one of my favourite records from the early 90’s is the cover ‘Blade Runner’ by Remake.”

The new release, out July 20 on vinyl, follows up projects from the likes of Tales of Us and Solomun.
