Fresh off his rock-infused single “Wild,” Belgium-based producer and guitarist SVDKO has returned with what might be one of his most exciting collaborations to date, teaming up with French talent Adrobski and Denver-based singer/songwriter Harvey to share “Open Waters.” Out independently, “Open Waters” makes up for a true statement piece that masterfully brings together the respective styles of all three musicians into a heavenly mix of experimental electronic music.

SVDKO’s signature guitar licks and hard-hitting percussion complement Adrobski’s forward-thinking production style, creating the perfect auditory bed for Harvey’s ethereal vocal lines to shine on. As she passionately sings about finding true love and comfort in her partner, the instrumental slowly builds up into a cataclysm of gritty vocal chops, distorted bass and wonky synth work. “Open Waters” is a truly powerful piece of electronic music, and a single that will undoubtedly be a monumental part of each of the three artists’ discographies.

“This song happened while I was experimenting with harmonies on my guitar. I found the main melodies that immediately inspired me to lay down that slowly evolving structure. Harvey completely understood what I was going for and recorded this topline in a few days – “It started with me trying my best to explain to my partner how being in love with them makes me feel”. Adrobski came a few months later to add some more heavy and experimental elements which blended perfectly with the mood of the song,“ reveals SVDKO about the story behind “Open Waters.”
