returns to New York this year for its sixth annual installment, celebrating a breadth sounds across the boroughs May 3-26.
The festival will host an array world premieres, including ’s MYRIAD — a daring, immersive performance built specifically for Park Avenue Armory — as well as performances from , Fever Ray, Drift Multiply by Tristan Perch, serpentwithfeet, and John Maus.
Since the festival began in 2013, the New York installment has brought an array invigorating public conversations to the city, including D’Angelo, Erykah Badu,, , , ’s first-ever DJ set; world premieres live shows including Anohni’s Hopelessness, FKA Twigs’ Congregata, and ’s An Ode To at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum; and the Larry Levan Street Party which brought out more than 20,000 New Yorkers.
