We’ve got another new face here at Magnetic Magazine Recordings!

German producer Traumhouse makes his debut with “Sperare”, a lush organic house track. A bouncy, energetic baseline and glittery synth arpeggios mix perfectly with organic percussion and live instrumentation to create a truly special track. As the artist says, it’s supposed to make you feel a sense of hope while listening.

Traumhouse has been active in the deep house scene since 2017, and is widely known for his seamless blend of organic and electronic, which is on full display with “Sperare”. He’s known for his contributions to Amulanga and Worlds Apart, and perhaps most renowned for his 2022 release “A Hopeful Place”, which released on All Day I Dream’s 2022 winter sampler. His production work is always top notch and we are so honored to have him on our label.

To introduce all of you to him and his work, we had the opportunity to sit down with him and ask him a few questions about the creation of “Sperare”, as well as to get to know him as a producer.

What went into the creation of “Sperare”?

Sperare is a track which I created when I was feeling hope again this year, when summer started in Germany. The sun affects me a lot so I was able to do a more “positive” track again.

The string melody helped me create a story. What is life about? Positive phases, sad phases, but somehow a bit of hope, all in one. After the break, when the beat comes in, life continues as usual, but this time with a flute beside. A little bright new light. Then the strings come back and I feel this melancholic vibe again.

How much do the music industry’s trends impact your work?

This is a hard but good question. I really do not care about “hype”. Like, you can hear in this track “Sperare” I am using a very thin body kick which is not very usual in organic house.

While I am doing music I forget everything around me. I don’t think about anything in the music industry, or hypes, meanings, standards. I just let the emotions flow and care a bit about that a DJ can play the track.

What is one thing we should know about you?

They can expect absolute direct music from me. Direct from my heart into the DAW.
