Nina Kraviz’s GALAXIID label has introduced its second launch, detailing a reissue of Solar X’s uncommon 1997 album ‘X-Rated’.
The forthcoming reissue will see the album pressed onto wax for the very first time, with a digital launch additionally scheduled.
Originally releasing in February 1997, the sprawling challenge is certain to seek out new followers because it lands on Kraviz’ трип Recordings offshoot imprint subsequent 12 months. It follows up GALAXIID's inaugural launch, a reissue of Species Of Fishes' 1996 album 'Trip Trap'.
On the album Russian producer Solar X, aka Roman Belavkin, weaves via techno, IDM and electro for a sonic journey that has been described as a transportation to the, “unusual sonic world of an elusive 90s pioneer.”
Kraviz included a monitor from 'X-Rated' in her January 2018 Mixmag Cover Mix. Picking reduce 'Mistress Awaits You' she defined:
