Magnetic premiere: PAAX (Tulum) feat. Sakhe The Conqueror – Sela

Fusing South American and African sounds, all proceeds from the Scorpios Music release will be donated to Bridges For Music

Afro House continues to rise globally, opening doors for collaborations between international and African artists. DJ duo PAAX and vocalist Sakhe The Conqueror teamed up on “Sela,” released on Sept 27 via Scorpios Music.

The project, born from a partnership between Scorpios Music and Bridges For Music, supports the Cape Town-based NGO that empowers young creatives. All proceeds from “Sela” will go to the organization.

PAAX, known for their experimental Deep Tech and House sound, collaborated with Sakhe, who contributed powerful isiXhosa vocals. This fusion of cultures created a track blending global influences with African rhythms, enhanced by Cuban guitarist Emilio Campos Rojas. Sakhe’s lyrics offer a message of healing. Renowned producer Jean Claude Ades also delivered a remix for club settings.
