Dubbed the “poster boy the Sundance generation” by film critic Roger Ebert, producer and director Steven Soderbergh is widely recognized as one the most innovative film makers the 21st century. Soderbergh is widely recognized for his versatility — he ten assumes multiple roles on a film set — and unique visual style. His newest project, for which he serves as executive producer, is Perfect, a sci-fi film set to premiere at next month.

For his latest shift in style, Soderbergh tapped experimental producer  to compose the film’s soundtrack.

“A boy in a cold and stark modern house,” reads the film’s ficial description on ‘s website. The statement continues, “in a vaguely science fictional world, is seduced by advertisements perfection to install implantable characteristics directly into his body. The implants heal his dark, twisted visions, but come with a corporeal cost. He persists on applying them, hoping to reach perfection, but ultimately he discovers that purity mind is not exactly as he’s imagined.”

With the inventive Soderbergh orchestrating production and Flying Lotus lending his musical hand to the film, it’s certainly not one to miss.
