London club fabric has confirmed the reopening of Room Three with a brand new Pioneer Pro Audio soundsystem ready for the autumn season.
The Pioneer Pro Audio system will be accompanied by the same XY setup that has been the main power for Room Two since 2016, its purpose inspired by the need for crowd and DJ intimacy.
Fabric’s technical manager, Matt Smith, spoke about the technicalities of the installation, explaining the fitting of a quad system and Powersoft amplifiers.
“We’ve updated Room Three with the Pioneer XY system and powered it with Powersoft amplifiers. We were really happy with the performance in Room Two from the XY install and decided to update Room Three to match. We installed a quad system in each arch and extended the coverage on the terraced areas. The DJ booth has been updated with the XY12s and XY215 sub.”
This fresh addition to the club comes just in time for its FABRICLIVE events, with Nottingham-based Tumble Audio to be the first to test them out on September 14, followed by crews such as SheSaidSo, Four40 and Flexout Audio.
The old Room Three rig will be auctioned off in the near future.
A Pioneer Pro Audio system was also installed in Room Two back in 2016.
