Starting June 11, Eurostar will run one further prepare from London to the Netherlands every day, increasing the each day service to 3 direct trains to Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

The service launched final April and is now rising to match buyer demand. Amendments to the timetable will see the primary prepare of the day now depart 75 minutes earlier at 7:16am, whereas the brand new service will depart at 11:04am.

Mike Cooper, Eurostar’s chief govt, stated: “Our new path to the Netherlands has been met with robust demand from our prospects, who more and more worth the convenience, consolation and seamless expertise of high-speed rail.

“A 3rd prepare every day will increase capability while providing extra alternative and suppleness to travellers connecting between these European cities.”

Tickets are on sale now, priced from £35 a method. The high-speed rail methodology of travelling for this journey emits 80 per cent much less carbon than flying, with the time taken to get from London St Pancras station to Rotterdam and on to Amsterdam totalling three hours 13 minutes and three hours 52 minutes respectively.

The return journey is a lengthier course of and requires passengers to attach via Brussels as a result of there presently being no settlement in place between the British and Dutch governments for passport and safety checks to be carried out within the Netherlands.
