After an 18-month break, DJ and producer EddyThron has brought back his beloved ATOP series with a mesmerizing new installment, “ATOP 02: Buenos Aires.” This two-hour set, filmed during sunset on a Recoleta balcony, showcases Organic and Deep House tracks against the breathtaking backdrop of Argentina’s capital city.
“ATOP” stands for “Aloft Top,” a concept Eddy launched in 2020 to pair soulful music with elevated, awe-inspiring locations. The series reflects his Organic House alias, EddyThron pres. Aloft, created to explore a slower, emotionally resonant style of music without losing the essence of his Trance roots.
Returning to Buenos Aires, a city that has played a transformative role in his life, Eddy aimed to make every second of this set meaningful. “I didn’t want to rush the next episode,” Eddy shares. “This series is a dream come true, and I wanted it to feel as special as possible.”

“That drone shot of Callao and Santa Fe was a full-circle moment,” Eddy explains. “It brought the music and the place together in a way I’ll never forget.”
The set is more than just music—it’s a love letter to the city. With the vibrant visuals of Buenos Aires at sundown, “ATOP 02” immerses viewers in the atmosphere of one of the world’s most dynamic capitals. Eddy’s performance captures both the energy of the city and the emotional depth of Organic House.
For fans of melodic and atmospheric music, “ATOP 02: Buenos Aires” is a must-watch. The mix offers an emotional journey through music, blending well-known tracks, unreleased gems, and Eddy’s personal edits. It’s clear that the 18 months spent curating this experience were worth it, with every detail carefully crafted to resonate with listeners.
Eddy’s passion for his craft and connection to Buenos Aires shines throughout the performance. As he explains, “The special moments in one person’s life can often create something meaningful for someone else. That’s what I hoped to achieve with this set.”
