Berlin-based innovator DeWalta has shared the information that his releasing a double LP titled 'Lyra' and beginning a brand new ambient centered music label named Horizon Pi - an offshoot of his well-established Meander imprint - marking a brand new route for each his music and label.
Calling it his most "avant-garde" and "explorative" mission so far, DeWalta's new imprint will function a house for extra "contemplative" music and can differ from Meander's extra dancefloor-focused strategy.
His new album 'Lyra' - a reference to the supernatural musician Lyre of Orpheus in Greek mythology - is a "six-track celebration of the musician’s trippy minimal sound in all its glory" that might be launched Meander.
The single LP 'Lyra π (Pi)' kicks off the brand new Meander Horizon Pi Series with a five-track rating of meditative, score-like fashionable ambient works and marks the primary launch on the artist's new label-offshoot.
'Lyra' and 'Lyra Pi' drop on vinyl February eight and digitally on February 22.
