Carhartt WIP has teamed up with Australian skate company Pass-Port for a workwear-inspired SS19 collection. Merging their shared ethos for hard work and building a sense of community, a collection has been incorporated into a selection of casual classics and utilitarian workwear pieces.
Pass-Port originate from Sydney, located in the Northern Territory, or N.T., an area known for its harsh and barren landscape, with vast dirt-red desserts and dusty lands. This backdrop became the central inspiration for the collaboration that saw them adopting an earthy colour pallet.
The Pall Pant in Bottle Green Rinsed are a loose fitting carpenter pant, featuring an embossed label in all black on the back pocket with the Carhartt x Pass-Port co-branded logo. The two Polo shirts coming in different colourways are a relaxed fit with a vertical thin stripe running through. The polos also feature an embroidered label on the left breast with the co-branded Carhartt x Pass-Port logo in black and gold.
There's also a nice re-working of Carhartt's classic train carriage logo in flocking embroidery on the Carhartt x Pass-Port Thank You Sweatshirt in Bottle Green, coming on a heavy weight sweatshirt and signed off with a subtly embroidered "C" logo at the bottom of the sleeve.
This logo also features on the Pass-Port Cap in Black, and like the Thank You Sweat it features an embroidered Carhartt x Pass-Port co-branded logo on a formless 5-panel snapback. And to accompany the cut & sew line there's also a Carhartt x Pass-Port deck series with Northern Territory themed graphics.
The entire Carhartt x Pass-Port collection is available to purchase now from the Bored Of Southsea website.
