Austin Butler has opened up about the craziest party he’s every attended – which was hosted by Paul McCartney and saw Taylor Swift on DJ duty.
On the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Butler and Kimmel reflected on the last time they had seen each other, which turned out to be a house party hosted by Macca. Kimmel reminisced, “Last time I saw you was at maybe the craziest party I’ve ever been to in my whole life”, before Butler added: “It was insane.”
Going down the list of names who were present at the party, Butler said: “To see Paul and Ringo [Starr] in the same room was kind of amazing.” Other names included the surviving members of the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and Meryl Streep among others.
After recalling that Taylor Swift was also present, Butler added that she “was DJing at one point.” He joked: “She DJs at parties now.”

Later in the chat, Kimmel recalled Bruce Springsteen telling Butler a story about hopping the fence at Graceland in an attempt to meet Elvis Presley. Butler reflected: “I had heard this mythical story, but I heard it from him of being a huge Elvis fan and hopping the gates at Graceland to try to get up there. And he knocked on the door and wanted to give Elvis a song.”
Butler and Kimmel also spoke of the Elvis star joining Robert De Niro and Snoop Dogg for a private meal after he had wrapped up the promotion cycle for Dune: Part Two.
Butler is next due to star in The Bikeriders alongside Tom Hardy, Jodie Comer and more. The film arrives in cinemas across the UK this Friday, June 21.
