Australian bass music artist DVEIGHT is known for his hard-hitting sound design that has a energy-inducing effect.
He recently revealed his new EP, ‘BLOODCLOT,’ via powerhouse label Sounds of Mayhem. This six-track collection highlights the vibrant and diverse landscape of Australian dubstep culture, featuring collaborations with fellow Aussie producers Dassim, CHIBS, Manly, Nexu5, VANM, and Knoir.
The songs span a wide range of emotions and inspirations, from the intense and introspective “Livid” to the video game-inspired “Astel,” which draws influence from Elden Ring. The project also includes lighter fare like “Arvo Dub,” a track born from casual afternoon studio sessions with his mates, capturing the laid-back yet energetic spirit of Australian dubstep culture.
