A small jet, reportedly carrying rapper Post Malone, has been circling the greater New York City-area for four hours after two of its tires blew during takeoff on Tuesday.
While the plane was on route to London Luton Airport in Luton, England, the flight was re-routed as the jet experienced trouble with takeoff. The jet carrying 16 people took off from Teterboro Airport just before 11am when the pilot reported trouble.
The pilot was going to make an initial attempt to land back at the Teterboro airport as officials prepared for the landing by lining up a runway with fire trucks and ambulances. The aircraft has a reported 3,700 gallons of fuel to burn and has continued to circle in order to make a safer emergency landing. It's still unclear when the emergency landing will take place.
