With fall and the cooler weather just on the horizon, this month's roundup of releases will have you missing the summer. From laid-back summer-themed tracks like Half an Orange's "Sunscreen" and Whethan and The Knocks' collaboration "Summer Luv" to progressive house dance floor anthems like Dubvision and Afrojack's "Back To Life" and Deniz Koyu's "Lost Soul," it'll be easy to think back on those bittersweet festival and beach day memories.

The Knocks' latest house single, "Colors," definitely keeps that upbeat summer vibe. The track's array of swirling sounds and groovy beats gives meaning to what colorful sounds would actually sound like. To delve more into that summer groove, Big Gigantic bring the beach to you with their saxophones and easygoing sound in "Friends."

However, the nostalgic factor of Breathe Carolina's remix of Smash Mouth's '90s hit, "All Star," pushes it to the forefront of songs trying to hold onto that sweet summer feeling. The tropical house remix is actually the first official remix of this timeless alt rock song since its release 20 years ago.

As much as we hate to say goodbye to the summer, fall is coming and so is the cold. One specific artist whose known for his deep and mostly sad songs is bringing the chill with him. This month Illenium released his third studio album, ASCEND. It balances between being both depressing and happy with songs like "That's Why," "Broken Ones," "Good Things Fall Apart" and "Crashing."

Falling into this cool category, Seven Lions released two chillingly electric collaborative tracks in August. "Break The Silence" with MitiS explores a more future bass sound while "Another Me" with Excision, Wooli and Dylan Matthew hit hard in the dubstep department. With all of these surprising and amazing Seven Lion dream team collaborations this year, we're hoping there's a few more on the way before the year ends.
