New York City’s Meadows Music and Arts Festival faced a sad predicament recently. They took to social media this past Friday to announce that the 2018 edition of their festival was canceled due to permit issues.

This was to be the festival’s third edition this year, however after changing locations  to the Flushing Meadows Corona Park they were not able to obtain a multi-day permit for the event. Previously, the festival was held at Queens’ Citi Field and boasted a line-up including Bassnectar, Migos, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jay Z, A-track and many more heavy hitters.
