It seems that Ultra special performance speculation is at an all time high. Hopes reunions from the likes Swedish House Mafia and legends like Daft Punk are at an all time high to help Ultra celebrate their anniversary. We asked our readers and Twitter followers in a poll who they thought was most likely to perform at Ultra as a special performance based on the most popular current rumors. The 4 choices we have were as follows:
- Swedish House Mafia
- Avicii
- Daft Punk
- A Throwback Trance Set From Tiesto
Now obviously Swedish House Mafia came in first, as well – it is definitely the most widely talked about rumor during the ramp up to Miami Music Week. The most interesting detail we found was that those who took the poll believed that a set from both the ficially retired Avicii, and the might as well be retired Daft Punk were both more likely than a throwback set from Tiesto.
We definitely cannot say that we agree with those positions, but it does say something about the current state dance music! Let's be real whatever Tiesto plays at Ultra he will bring the house down, and any the choices from our poll would be absolutely unbelievable to witness. Less than 3 weeks to go until Ultra Music Festival, so remember folks – expect the unexpected.
