A Return to Connection in Platanillo

The third annual Bliss Burn returned from March 19–23, 2026, to The Garden in Platanillo, Costa Rica. This intimate conscious campout prioritizes connection and co-creation over the spectacle of larger festivals. Nestled on 33 acres of lush mountain terrain along a flowing river, the venue creates an environment where paths naturally cross, fostering a sense of community that feels both deliberate and deeply personal.

The Spirit of Cavalia Mágica

Unfolding under the theme Cavalia Mágica, the event encouraged a roaming, spontaneous exploration of the landscape. Unlike larger EDM festivals, the scale of Bliss Burn allows attendees to exist within the gathering rather than merely passing through it. The philosophy behind the event is rooted in dismantling the traditional structures of the "System"—the transactional expectations that often dictate modern life—in favor of a temporary, creative override.

Sonic Landscapes and Artistic Expression

The musical programming provided a steady, grounding pulse throughout the weekend. Honduran producer Shavalien opened the festivities with a shamanic tribal set, while Apothecary delivered a handcrafted psy set at the Elev8 stage. As the weekend progressed, artists like Zach Walker, SWAYLÓ, and Sage Farris brought soulful, melodic, and deep house sounds to the forefront. The event also featured strong contributions from residents including Nacho DJ, Flip, Segatto, and RahQuel Star.

Living the Pura Vida

Beyond the music, the event was defined by its art and workshops. Installations like "Held in Becoming" by Briana Hill and Armando Severiano served as focal points for community reflection. The Teatro del Cosmos, a repurposed art car, provided a unique gathering space along the riverbank. Ultimately, Bliss Burn 2026 served as a reminder of the Pura Vida lifestyle: accepting what is in front of you, finding joy in the present, and letting go of rigid expectations.
