Oasis have confirmed when they will be revealing the details of their 2025 South American reunion tour dates.

Liam and Noel Gallagher will play their first live shows together since 2009 next summer, kicking off with huge stadium gigs in the UK and Ireland. From there, the Britpop band are due to head to North America before returning for two extra dates at London’s Wembley Stadium in late September. The duo also shared that they will not be playing any festivals next year.

Now, the Gallagher brothers have taken to the band’s official Instagram account to announce that they will be sharing all the details of their 2025 South American reunion tour dates tomorrow (November 5) at 11am local time.

NME exclusively revealed that Oasis would be playing Sao Paulo, Brazil, Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina in a report back in September. The article also listed upcoming appearances in other international territories such as South Korea and Japan.

The band previously confirmed that their 2025 UK and Ireland dates would be the only European shows of their comeback tour. They later told fans that plans were “underway” for further performances around the globe.

However, Oasis have ruled out a headline performance at Glastonbury 2025 and said they won’t be appearing at any other festivals next summer. Liam and Noel have shot down rumours of a return to Knebworth in 2026 too.

The band have announced that Cage The Elephant will be serving as opening support on their North American leg while former The Verve frontman and soloist Richart Ashcroft and Cast will be joining the Mancunian icons on their UK and Ireland dates.

Speaking to NME in a new interview, Cast frontman John Power explained: “It’s a stamp of approval from our peers, and I appreciate that massively.”

He added: “Liam, Noel, the band, know that it’s going to be a very positive vibe. There’s no room for negativity, and I already know that for everybody involved. It’s going to be a beautiful thing. All the bands are going to be rolling on seamlessly and it’s going to be electric.”

Elsewhere, Liam has said he and Noel have no plans to do any joint interviews around their comeback. “We’re scared of the media asking us intrusive questions and trying to pick holes in our relationship,” he reasoned.

In other news, Oasis are set to cancel thousands of tickets for their UK tour that have been sold via resale websites at inflated prices.

Fans are currently speculating over who will be in the reformed Oasis line-up alongside Liam and Noel, with original guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs reportedly on board for the tour dates.

Other rumoured members include guitarist Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell. Drummer Alan White also sparked speculation on social media this summer, but NME is led to believe that he will not be part of the reunion. Liam has since teased that the band could feature “a few new faces”.

Meanwhile, Liam Gallagher has hit back at criticism over Oasis not booking any younger or newer acts to open for them next year.
