Storm Music Group has been on fire over the past few years, building a loyal fanbase not just through their highly successful event series, but also from their well-curated discography that leans towards the more commercial side of dance music. This approach has attracted a wide audience that supports the sound and the artists they sign. Now, as the label looks to expand further, they’re launching a new label, Infinity Beats.

The new sublabel will focus on the uptempo side of dance music, offering a catalog that ranges from powerful Trance anthems to energetic Melodic Techno bangers. Expect massive synthesizers, powerful kickdrums, and expansive atmospheres that provide the perfect closing moments for unforgettable club nights and the biggest festivals worldwide.

So the big question is, why start a label now?

And if you do, how are you going to stand out from the thousands of others that are popping up everywhere? In this Label Spotlight, that’s exactly what we’re going to explore. We’ll dig into Infinity Beats’ sound, what sets them apart, and what the label’s management team sees happening in the industry. We’ll also look at how they plan to offer a unique platform for artists and deliver distinctive music for their audience. So, let’s dive into this interview with Infinity Beats for this week’s Label Spotlight.

1. What inspired the creation of the new sublabel, Storm Infinity Beats and how does it differ from Storm Music?

At Storm Music, we believe that different genres need unique promotional strategies to reach their full potential. By introducing Infinity Beats, we can better tailor our promotion to the specific characteristics of uptempo dance music and give these releases the spotlight they deserve. Our main label will continue to focus on the commercial side of dance music

2. How do you see Infinity Beats fitting into the broader landscape of dance music today?

Genres are getting more and more niche over the last few years. Almost every style of House or EDM has its own genre which means the promotion strategy will also need to be more specific and different from the other genres because it has its own target audience and fanbase. With that said we felt that our uptempo releases needed a different approach than our commercial releases and decided with this label we could reach another audience and let the releases perform better.

3. What are your goals for Infinity Beats in the next year?

– Our goal for 2025 is to have between 20 & 30 releases on the album.

– Have at least 2 big playlists on all streaming platforms as a source for the streams.

– Work with multiple artists and build their DJ profile together with the label.

4. Can you share any details about upcoming collaborations or exclusive tracks on Infinity Beats?

Of course we can’t share too much but we are delighted about the first releases and the plans we have for the rest of 2024. I can tell you that one of our first releases will be from Xavi Del Mundo and is a HUGE club banger. It is planned for the end of September and we can’t wait for all the reactions of this one.

5. What trends in the electronic music industry do you think Infinity Beats is poised to capitalize on?

Over the last 5 years dance music is getting faster and faster again. Also the influence of the sounds from the 90’s is bigger than ever and genres like Trance and Hard-House are taking over the dancefloors. We want to connect with these artists and audiences and bring them together to the best parties and the best playlists.

With Infinity Beats added to our arsenal we have the ability to share this music and connect with these people.

6. What lessons have you learned from running Storm Music for so long that you look forward to implement with the new label? Are there any mistakes you’re going to avoid?

As said before we believe that different genres need unique promotional strategies to reach their full potential. A commercial dance track needs a different promotion campaign then a big Techno club banger. With a new sublabel we can specify the promotion for these genres and tracks and get the best results.

We have learned that with the current state and releases of Storm Limited Edition the sub label is not clear for artists and even for our own A&R. What is the purpose of this label and what music does it want to represent? These questions should not be asked and are what we want to avoid.

7. How can artists send demos?

Our demo location will stay the same. All demos can be sent to our central demo box: [email protected]. Do you want live feedback on your demo? Join our live demo drop at ADE this year at the 24th, 25th and 26th of October at Proeflokaal Van Wees! Make sure to check our socials for the announcement and times.
