Opening with “stick it in the freezer,” Wildblood introduces listeners to a world of fuzzy chords and delicate, xylophone-like melodies. The track is full of warmth and emotion, with softly woven vocal snippets and intricate drum patterns creating a dreamy atmosphere that is created via a gorgeous analogue synth chord progression. “kilter:switch” follows, taking a turn towards the frenetic with its drum & bass-inspired rhythms and wet claps. The lush, harmonic vocals and acid-tinged synths provide a cosmic feel that keeps you moving, blurring the lines between electronic genres.
The EP closes with the title track, “FLUSH,” a high-energy, techno-leaning minimal piece that bursts with colorful synth lines and dynamic textures. The bubbling neon sounds and airy pads give it a futuristic edge, making Flush another EP that captures Seb Wildblood’s unique ability to craft rich, genre-spanning electronic music.
