Hard and abrasive techno lined up for you this month brought to you by 15 of the best that shook dance-floors and bothered the neighbors. Two of Dubfire’s newest EVOLV remixes top the chart while Massano, Gregor Tresher, Seven Vath, and Perc back him up. Finnish producer, LUMI brought the melody on HE.SHE.THEY and Eli Brown took us back to Earth with a more digestible version of the genre. Closing out the chart are a lot of newer names that are deserving of your attention as well. Techno on top of techno. Enjoy.

1. “DUST & GAS (DECKA REMIX)” – DUBFIRE [SCI+TEC]

Eighteen months after Dubfire unleashed EVOLV, we are getting a remix package that includes all of the remixes so far. Plus, a couple of new nuggets that rival the rest. Including, Decka’s revision of “Dust & Gas.”

2. “DEADBUG (DEAS REMIX)” – DUBFIRE [SCI+TEC]

DEAS’s fierce remix of “Deadbug” is that second remix that stands as a new addition to the collection. Wicked stuff right here.

3. “SCENE ANALYSIS (PERC REMIX)” – KEEPSAKES [PERC TRAX]

James Barrett’s EP which came out on Perc Trax early in the month and it included three originals full of tongue-in-cheek cynicism. Including, this tough-as-nails remix by the boss himself, Perc!

4. “FLASHBACK” – GREGOR TRESHER FT. SVEN VATH [TURBO RECORDINGS]

Two titans of techno unite on Turbo Recordings for a two-tracker which includes this very title track that goes harder than usual for the pair.

5. “DESTRUCTURE” – MASSANO [DRUMCODE]

“Drumcode has had a huge influence on the type of music I make and was undoubtedly one of the reasons I started making music in the first place. The label has been one of the main staples in my electronic music journey and have consistently released some of my favourite tracks over the past 10+ years. So, needless to say, it is an honour to be releasing this EP with them and I am super grateful for the opportunity to express another side of my music to an audience and platform as prestigious as Drumcode.” – Massano

6. “HOLD ME” – LUMI [HE.SHE.THEY]

Finnish producer, LUMI makes her debut on HE.SHE.THEY with a trio of tunes which includes this very euphoric take on melodic techno.

7. “DROPOUT” – NONAMELEFT, DANIEL WEIRDO [SET ABOUT]

This collaboration on Set About features a whole slew of nasty fills and effects that blow everything else out of the water.

8. “BITTERSWEET” – JOHN TEJADA, PLAID [PALETTE RECORDINGS]

Conceived during Plaid’s visit to Los Angeles, these songs seamlessly fuse the distinctive elements of each artist’s style while paying homage to the emotive techno vibes of the 90s that continue to inspire them. “Bittersweet” marries a transposing 303 bass-line with Plaid’s classic harmonies and Tejada’s trademark rhythms, evoking a sense of nostalgia intertwined with innovation.

9. “BLACK HOLE” – CARLA SCHMITT [GEARS]

French producer, Carla Schmitt launches her new imprint with “Black Hole.” A psychedelic banger that just might suck you into that *proverbial* black hole.

10. “I GOT MONEY” – ELI BROWN [ARCANE MUSIC]

Eli Brown‘s return to Arcane Music is a two-headed monster that features this fast-paced weapon which is currently burning up the Beatport chart.

11. “COSMIC DISRUPTION” – JAMIE, LUCAS BERGEN [CRISIS OF MAN]

Closing out this Dutch duo’s debut on CRISIS OF MAN is this cerebral adventure they call, “Cosmic Disruption.”

12. “ELGAFAR” – MASSIMO LOGLI [SUPERBA RECORDS]

High-energy techno right here that features raw drums and serrated synths that spray about the mix to get peak time floors bouncing.

13. “RUNAWAY” – ILONA MARAS [MJA THE VISION]

“Runaway” by Ilona Maras is an audio assault with a sultry vocal that belongs every techno DJ’s playlist this Summer.

14. “BACKDRAFT 1.2” – RNGD [RNGD]

Raw, unadulterated, cavernous techno right here from an artist whose bio reads:

“No BIO, just TECHNO.”

15. “FIREWALL” – THOMAS BARNETT [VISILLUSION]

Thomas Barnett on his A.I. EP:

“No A.I. was used on this production.”
