Though it doesn’t officially drop until tomorrow, Proximity has uploaded the massive collaboration between Seven Lions, Kill The Noise, Tritonal, and HALIENE, “Horizon,” a day early to the pleasure of literally everyone. This one has been played in all of their sets for months now, and to finally have a full release is akin to some other very pleasurable release, if ya know what we mean…

Euphemisms aside, “Horizon” is an absolutely amazing track that plays to each artists’ strengths throughout the track. The first drop is this beautifully anthemic whirlwind of synths and melody swirling together in a perfect maelstrom; the second drop, or you could call it the bridge, is a fantastically wonky display of half-time bass music that is sure to throw you for a loop. Soon enough though, it breaks back into cascading, arpeggiating synths that remind you why you fell in love with music like this in the first place.

Finally, “Horizon” pumps up the tempo to pure drum & bass for a massive finale that is nothing but chill-inducing and agonizingly suspenseful. The higher tempo drop incorporates some of that wonky bass from the bridge as well as vocal drops from the first drop, and later the arpeggios from the third section, bringing everything together in one neat package.

Check out “Horizon” below, and catch Seven Lions, Kill The Noise, and HALIENE at EDC this weekend!
