German artist Zedd has cancelled an upcoming efficiency in Atlanta on the Opera nightclub, which has not too long ago come below scrutiny after video surfaced of a girl getting sexual assaulted contained in the venue.
Zedd made the announcement on Monday Twitter that he would not be acting at Opera on February 1, throughout Super Bowl weekend. He didn't give a cause for the cancellation. That being stated, earlier within the day the Atlanta Police Department reported girl was sexual assaulted on the dancefloor of Opera and it was caught on digicam.
According to Billboard, the lady was live streaming herself at Opera Facebook dwell all through the night time. During one of many dwell streams, a person asks the lady if she was alone. Then, a video of the lady being sexual assaulted by the identical man is captured. The Atlanta Police Department now has this footage and is investigating Opera.
Opera's administration shared a brief statement Facebook stating that it's cooperating with the Atlanta Police Department: "A this time we have now met with the Atlanta Police Department and have offered them the whole lot they've requested. We will proceed to help and assist their investigation in any manner we are able to. We have been requested to defer any additional inquiries to the Atlanta Police Department Public Affairs Unit."
