This week Dazed, Carthartt WIP and London’s NTS Radio shared a brand new collaborative movie exploring Moodymann’s bi-annual Soul Skate celebration.

Titled Soul Skate 2018, the movie options the voice of Kenny Dixon Jr., aka Moodymann, and examines the function of skating in Detroit’s subcultural historical past and its significance so far.

The Ramone Anderson-directed movie additionally watches on as numerous skaters from the world over hit up the long-lasting Soul Skate curler disco in Detroit, with many discussing their passions for the pastime on movie.
