The end of the Summer season doesn’t mean a thing to techno. That goes for the fans and producers alike. The sound is fierce across the board and the purists couldn’t care less about a catchy tune. A driving beat and a sinister melody is all they need 365 days a year.

1. “FEAR” – RAMON TAPIA [PLANET RHYTHM]
Awesome, dark grooves on this very nice addition to Ramon Tapia‘s Silent Assassin E.P. via Planet Rhythm.
2. “RUST” – SHLOMI ABER & KASHPITZKY [BLUEPRINT RECORDS]
Shlomi Aber‘s collaboration on Blueprint is a bright spotlight that features four, fantastic heaters. Including this ultra-fast techno they call, “Rust.”
3. “BAZEMENT” – SHLOMI ABER & KASHPITZKY [BLUEPRINT RECORDS]
“Bazement” is another gem on the Sonic Underworld EP that tops the achievement list of September 2024.
4. “KEEP MOVING” – ALPHADOG [TRUESOUL]
‘‘Keep Moving’ was born during my performance at Limassol, where the energy of the crowd was electrifying. As I watched the movement and felt the rhythm of the people, I knew I had to capture that unstoppable vibe. The inspiration was so strong that as soon as I got home, I locked myself in the studio and channelled that memory into creating this track, bringing the essence of that festival to life – and ‘Keep Moving’ was born.’ –Alphadog
5. “DESIRE” – KLOUD, VENDEX [VALKHØR]
Two elusive artists combine for this fast and furious rager that is absolutely exceptional.
6. “YOU ARE ALREADY COMPLETE (ANSWER CODE REQUEST REMIX)” – INGWERTER [RAW.]
Not to be overshadowed by Ingwerter’s excellent debut but Answer Code Request’s remix of the lead track is smooth and sensuous techno at its very best.
7. “3AM” – MHA IRI [FILTH ON ACID]
Sandwiched between two lightning fast tracks on Filth On Acid is this acid belter by British techno star, Mha Iri.
8. “COSMIC INTERFERENCE (BALROG’S 303 INTERFERENCE MIX)” – LINDSEY HERBERT [CRISIS OF MAN]
Lindsey Herbert‘s 2022 placement on CRISIS OF MAN finds its way onto the five year anniversary compilation in the form of two different remixes. Including this acid-techno rainstorm by Balrog. Wicked stuff.
9. “MESMERIZE” – HI-LO [DRUMCODE]
HI-LO’s welcomed return to Drumcode brings a pair of earth-shattering tunes. Including this melodic one that’s rather spectacular.
10. “DIZZY” – HI-LO, LUSU [DRUMCODE]
Mesmerize’s counterpart, “DIZZY” is absolutely massive. Turn it up and forget the world.
11. “TURBULENCE” – ROMAN WEBER [ORANGE RECORDINGS]
Austrian producer, Roman Weber is back on Orange Recordings with a a pair of warehouse weapons that includes this infectious one he’s titled, “Turbulence.”
12. “MELODIA” – SPACE 92 [ARCANE MUSIC]
“I am very happy to release my single ‘Melodia’ on Arcane; I have great respect for Eli Brown. I chose to use Spanish vocals on Melodia because they fit so well. Also, this was my way of showing love to my Latinoamerican & hispanophone community!” -Space 92
13. “MANCHESTER” – KLINT [KOWBOI]
On KOWBOI’s inaugural release, label-boss, Klint brought four stompers. Including, this rhythm-heavy one he calls, “Manchester.”
14. “TURN DOWN” – ROSPER [KD RAW]
Rosper’s “Turn Down” found a warm welcome on the ninth edition of KD Raw‘s Master Cuts.
15. “ADDICTION” – MAX STYLER + OSCAR L [TRUESOUL]
‘We started this collaboration through Instagram. We have always had a shared love for each other’s music and we thought we would try and work on something together. Both records having been making big waves in our sets and we’re really excited for them to be out on Truesoul.’ –Oscar L
