Vintage Culture, braev – Time (Nihil Young Remix)

Nihil Young’s recreation of “Time” stems from Promised Land (Remixes), a project that includes 21 remixes from Kölsch, Innellea, Kevin de Vries, Agents Of Time, Andrea Oliva, Solomun, Marco Lys, Bhaskar, and more. Only an artist of Vintage Culture’s caliber could pull off a remix album like this, with the help of the original album being an extraordinary LP that welds together a variety of genres across house and techno.

MRAK, 19:26 – Reserva [Afterlife]

One-half of iconic duo Tale Of Us and co-founder of Afterlife, MRAK joins forces with 19:26 for “Reserva.” Featuring infectious vocal samples, dreamy plucks, and a driving melodic techno bassline, “Reserva” will make you want to get lost in its sonic atmosphere. It is part of The Turn, MRAK’s two-track EP paired with “Dune,” including vocals from Aimée Sophia.

Paradoks – Together [Time Machine]

Having been featured on previous melodic techno chart editions, Paradoks is an artist that should be on everyone’s radar, especially fans of progressive house and melodic techno. “Together” is a slight bit heavier and more driving than his usual catalog, fueled by enchanting vocal echoes and grainy synths. When you reach the middle of the track you will come across a spectacular monologue, putting a cherry on this amazing record.

Local Dialect, Robertson – Feels Like Heaven

“Feels Like Heaven,” a collaboration brewed by Local Dialect and Robertson, is primed to take listeners on an adventure. Depending on the setting, with viable options being a melodic techno warehouse rave or long drive, this song has the ability to take you on both an introspective and external trip. “Feels Like Heaven” washes over any audience with sensational vocals, crisp percussion builds, and a drop that can only be heard, not explained.

Innēr Sense – Hypnotic [Ame Records]

Following in the footsteps of the previous trance-inducing track’s, Innēr Sense’s “Hypnotic” is a great match for its surrounding imprint, Ame Records. It feels like a classic melodic techno anthem, but adds a flair of new-age production, and a vocal sample that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It urges you to “stay focused… and join our crew,” embracing a theme of unity in music and dance.

Cyantist, Rob Hes – Revenant [Spectrum]

An easy candidate for one of our favorite tracks of the year, Cyantist and Rob Hes’s “Revenant” is a sonic exploration that is guaranteed to take hold of your mind, body, and spirit. I’m not going to say anything more on this track, as the best way to understand what it entails is listening to it on repeat and enjoying its incredible sound design.

Return Of The Jaded – Soma (Dominik Gehringer Remix) [Purified Records]

Both amazing artists, Return Of The Jaded’s “Soma” is remixed by rising producer Dominik Gehringer. Syncing perfectly with the vibe and aesthetic of Nora en Pure’s Purified Records, this remix radiates an energy that feels like the past, present, and future are all intertwined across it. It is hard not love the crisp snares and ethereal vocals layered on top of the well-molded bassline in this reinvention of “Soma.”

CamelPhat, Zafrir, Abagar Quartet – Utopia [When Stars Align]

Multi-platinum and GRAMMY-nominated duo CamelPhat continue to shape the global electronic landscape with their new B-Sides EP, released via their expanding label, When Stars Align. Widely recognized for their signature blend of melodies, emotive soundscapes, and infectious basslines, CamelPhat raise the bar yet again with this project. Featuring collaborations with vocal talents like RHODES, Frýnn, Zafrir, and the Abagar Quartet, the EP moves effortlessly from festival-ready anthems to bold, boundary-pushing sounds, offering listeners a diverse selection of their sound. “Utopia” is a definitely a stand-out on this six-track EP.

CamelPhat, RHODES – Healing [When Stars Align]

Another great tune from CamelPhat’s B-Sides EP, “Healing” is a collaboration with RHODES that is centered around a serene vocal lead. In addition to the lyrics being powerful and moving, CamelPhat’s production is superb on this one. It does an outstanding job of building anticipation and the timing of drops mixed with brief empty spaces before them for increased impact.

Dsnt Matter, Ali Bakgor – Mind Control [widerworks]

Throughout this year, Dsnt Matter and Ali Bakgor have proven to be a formidable duo in the global melodic techno landscape. They were spotlighted in August for their remarkable collaboration, “Aliens Attack,” and clearly this pair has not lost their touch. Although “Mind Control” will not fully take control of your mind, it is impossible to listen to it without breaking out into dance. Its elite fusion of robotic soundscapes and futuristic effects is a recipe for massive rave crowds.

ASHER SWISSA, JOOLIA, ARIA – Dune [Beverly Pills]

ASHER SWISSA has become a regular on our melodic techno charts, and for good reason. His exotic blend of middle-eastern sounds with heavy melodic techno production is inescapable. Linking up with JOOLIA and ARIA for “Dune,” the highlight of this track is its tantalizing lyrics. The impressive vocal delivery makes you feel like you are being lifted into the air. “Dune” doubles down on this feeling by backing the vocals with a melodic techno bassline that will penetrate the soul.

Black Box – Weekend (Unseen. Remix) [Lelantus Records]

As we continue through the final third of October’s top picks, Unseen. transforms Black Box’s “Weekend” into a cutting-edge voyage across captivating and an invigorating instrumental. Part of a special ADE release, this song will make you made the trip to Amsterdam for the flagship week-long event, simply so you could witness Unseen. play it live.

Agents Of Time, Bigfett, Lucy Dye – Collide [Tomorrowland Music]

For any melodic techno fan, when you see the names Agents Of Time and Bigfett on a track, you know it is going to be a good one. Collaborating with gifted singer-songwriter Lucy Dye, the two acclaimed producers presents “Collide,” a monumental single on Tomorrowland Music. A solid track for club shows, festivals, and open-air venues, the cover art is just as mystifying as the song itself.

Rauschhaus, Peer Kusiv – Love You [Forevermore]

“Love You” is one of those tracks that will cheer you up no matter the mood you’re in. It has an uplifting aura that spreads a message of positivity and love via its sound. Rauschhaus and Peer Kusiv are two of my favorite producers at the moment, both consistently straying outside the norm to deliver new, fresh anthems. “Love You” is no exception to this pattern, clutching you in its grasp from start to finish.

David Lindmer, Q.U.A.K.E – Soul Effect [Running Clouds]

The 15th and final tune from this month’s melodic techno chart, David Lindmer and Q.U.A.K.E’s “Soul Effect” is highly likely to beneficially affect the state of your soul. It encompasses a thick and dramatic bassline that is interspersed with intoxicating chord progressions. Running Clouds is the optimal home for this gem of a track, due to it being a label that has helped shape the modern melodic and progressive scene, as well as reigning in the future of melodic techno.
