Goom Gum, Deepest Blue – Deepest Blue [Armada Music B.V.]
When a classic gets reimagined by modern masters, the result is nothing short of magical. Goom Gum takes Deepest Blue’s iconic early-2000s hit and transforms it into a hypnotic melodic techno anthem. The familiar melody is still there, but it now rides on a wave of pulsating synths and an irresistible groove. This track doesn’t just remix the original; it breathes new life into it, making it feel just as fresh and relevant as it did decades ago.
Aaron Hibell, Alex Wann – Set Me Free (CamelPhat Remix) [Astralwerks]
CamelPhat has a knack for taking tracks to another level, and their remix of Aaron Hibell and Alex Wann’s “set me free” is no exception. They blend their signature euphoric energy with the raw emotion of the original, creating something that feels both nostalgic and cutting-edge. If you were lucky enough to catch them opening for Anyma at the Sphere in Vegas, you already know this one hits different live.
Paradoks – C’est Toi [Purified Records]
Nothing exudes effortless cool quite like a well-executed fusion of deep house and melodic techno. Paradoks pulls it off flawlessly with “C’est Toi,” layering sultry French vocals over a rolling bassline that builds into a euphoric drop. The contrast between its sensual atmosphere and high-energy progression makes it impossible to resist. Whether you are vibing solo or lost in a sea of bodies on the dancefloor, this one is a mood-setter.
Stan Kolev – Desired State [Outta Limits Recordings]
Few producers can hold down a groove as hypnotic as Stan Kolev. “Desired State” is nearly eight minutes of pure, late-night magic, fusing tribal vocal chants with a deep, driving bassline. The track’s melodies are chilling yet uplifting, pulling you deeper into its trance-like rhythm with every passing second. If you need something to soundtrack a warehouse set at 3 AM, this is it.
Anyma, Argy, Son of Son – Voices In My Head [Interscope Records]
Some songs are not just heard — they are a full audiovisual experience. Anyma’s “Voices In My Head” is a cinematic rollercoaster, gradually building tension before unleashing a hypnotic wave of synths and pulsating bass. Debuted at his sold-out Sphere residency, this track came alive through visuals of blinking eyes filling the screen in perfect sync with the music. If you caught it live or watch the video below it is obvious this goes beyond music. “Voices In My Head” is an altered state of mind.
Henri Bergmann, Monophase (IT), Be No Rain – Cheating Heart [Spectrum]
Heartbreak anthems hit differently when they are wrapped in dark melodic techno. “Cheating Heart” is a Valentine’s Day gift to the emotionally wrecked, tying Be No Rain’s haunting vocals with brooding synths and a relentlessly pulsing bassline. The tension in the breakdown makes the eventual drop feel like both a release and a relapse, pulling you right back into the whirlwind of lost love.
Innēr Sense (ofc) – Blackout [Innēr Sense Records]
There is a major hypnotic factor that radiates across “Blackout”. Innēr Sense has been on a serious hot streak lately, and this track proves why. A melting pot of progressive house, melodic techno, and acidic undertones, it wraps around you like a sonic trance. It is one of those tracks that makes you lose yourself completely.
Layla Benitez, Frýnn – Broken Love [Zamna]
Emotional dance music is a rare breed, but Layla Benitez and Frýnn have mastered the art. “Broken Love” is a journey through the highs and lows of heartbreak, carried by resonant synths and ethereal vocals. There is an aching vulnerability here, but also an underlying strength that makes it impossible to turn away from.
TH;EN – 365 (SLVR Remix) [NOW]
A good remix should elevate a track without losing the essence of the original, and SLVR absolutely nails it with his take on “365.” Atmospheric and packed with subtle tension, this version transports listeners into a dreamlike state. The textures are lush, the energy is simmering, and the payoff is definitely worth the wait.
Agents Of Time – Only Human [Time Machine]
Melodic techno thrives on emotion, and “Only Human” delivers it in waves. Agents Of Time craft a sonic journey filled with soaring synths and an energetic groove that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Whether you are closing your eyes on the dancefloor or blasting this on a night drive, the feeling is the same: pure transcendence.
Goodboys, KREAM – Paradise [Tomorrowland Music]
Some tracks just scream mainstage energy, and this one is a prime example. Goodboys and KREAM combine forces on “Paradise,” welding infectious vocals with a beat that demands movement. The production is sleek, the groove is undeniable, and the chemistry between these artists is on full display. If summer had a theme song, this might just be it.
Estiva – KFIL [Colorize / Enhanced Music]
Estiva knows how to craft progressive house magic, and “KFIL” (short for “Keep Falling In Love”) is yet another masterpiece in his collection. A vocoder-infused vocal gives the track an otherworldly feel, while dazzling synth layers and a powerful bassline build towards a euphoric climax. If you are into tracks that balance raw emotion with club energy, this one belongs in your rotation.
Anturage, Alexey Union – Engage [Stil vor Talent]
“Engage” is a sonic spell that pulls you in from the first beat. My favorite part is that the track balances haunting robotic vocals — both male and female — forming an entrancing contrast. It is the kind of track that sneaks up on you, building momentum until you realize you have fully surrendered to its rhythm.
ARTBAT – Afterparty [UPPERGROUND]
ARTBAT knows exactly how to keep the night going long after the headliners (like themselves) leave the stage. The visuals for this one are insane: a fierce black-and-white lion struts towards to viewer with glowing eyes, one red and one blue. As “Afterparty” grows in intensity and the lion gets right up in your face. When the drop hits, it jumps out as you, roaring as red strobe lights flash onto it’s face.
EarthLife, Moonwalk, Roundrobin – Break Of Dawn [Ritter Butzke Records]
The best tracks feel like a past memory, and “Break Of Dawn” is exactly that. EarthLife, Moonwalk, and Roundrobin come together to forge an unforgettable mixture of nostalgic trance and modern melodic techno. The vocals are tranquil empowering, holding listeners captive as the track unfolds. It is a great way to close out February’s selections.
