Jessie Ware & Romy – Lift You Up [Universal Music Operations Ltd]

Jessie Ware and Romy have been friends for years, so it made sense for these artists to do a duet. Enter Stuart Price as the producer, and you get a bonafide summer banger! “Lift You Up” is not only a fun danceable track, but the lyrics remind us to love each other and lift each other up, a message that we all can relate to.

Lindstrøm – Sirius Syntoms [Feedelity Recordings]

Lindstrøm’s music has never fit perfectly into any particular dance genre, but there is plenty of Disco influence throughout his catalog. “Sirius Syntoms” shows just how flexible an artist Lindstrøm is, with plenty of layered synths giving us strings, bleeps and bloops, and percussion, all blending to create a song that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Flevans – Dreamer [Jalapeno Ltd.]

If you want an all-around great album to listen to, I highly recommend FlevansStand Tall! This artist knows his way around electronic music, and you will hear his multiple influences throughout the LP. “Dreamer” is a modern disco dream, full of life and hope, a message to all of us to follow our dreams.

The Knocks feat Yelle – All The Time/Tout Le Temps [Neon Gold Records]

In advance of the Paris Olympics comes the brilliant “All The Time/Tout Le Temps”, a track that finally realizes a partnership in song between The Knocks and Yelle! Yelle states: “The Knocks offered me the opportunity to relay the easiest French attitude lesson possible! I love how immediate the collaboration was, and how immediate this song is. It was a very liberating moment of badass headbanging!” Yelle also composed and produced music for the PARIS 2024 Olympic Games. Enjoy this amazing preview!

ASHRR – Sway [20/20 Vision Recordings]

LA’s ASHRR has released their 5th single “Sway” from their upcoming September 20th LP, Sunshine Low. The band finds itself in indie disco territory on this track, with lilting synths, funky bass, and time changes that make you sit up and listen. If you aren’t familiar with this group yet, check out their already impressive catalog.

Mason – Head Lost feat. Sxcha (Tseba Edit) [Another Rhythm]

The Tseba edit of Mason‘s “Head Lost” is a perfect example of how to remix a tech house track and make it ooze with delicious summertime nu-disco vibes! Sxcha’s breezy vocals blend seamlessly with the added disco guitar and bass. Turn this up at your next party!

We Are Neurotic – Keep On Dancing [C3DO]

Next up on C3DO Records are Indonesian brothers We Are Neurotic with the slow-burning jam “Keep On Dancing”. This track starts like it’s going to be a poolside chillout tune, but it cranks up the tempo halfway through and makes it a dance floor filler!

Skyscrapers – Wipe The Needle [Z Records]

Coming in hot on Dave Lee‘s Z Records is Skyscrapers cool summer breeze of a track “Wipe The Needle”. This song has by far and away the best use of jazz flute I’ve heard in quite a while. The dreamy vocals harken back to the soundtrack-style songs of the 70s, where the combination of sounds makes you feel like you are on the beach in Monte Carlo.

Louie Vega – Music Is My Life feat. Unlimited Touch (Dave Lee Extended Remix) [Nervous Records]

Speaking of Dave Lee, July gave us “Music Is My Life” from house music giant Louie Vega. Lee’s remix is a classic, taking all of the best elements of the 2022 original and adding that disco sauce that Lee does so well. The tempo is a quarter sped up, strings, extra horns, and heavier bass lines were added to spice up this mix. It’s a true match made in heaven!

Jafunk – Don’t Stop The Music Feat. Stefan Mahendra and Triple H Horns [Luckie Star Records]

Jafunk was determined to make the best disco/funk possible and learned all of the tricks in music production to make that happen. “Don’t Stop The Music” is a more funk-forward second release from Jafunk’s upcoming Disco Nights EP, with Stefan Mahendra on the vocals and another appearance by Triple H Horns. Grab yourself a copy here!

Roosevelt – In The Dark [Counter Records]

Roosevelt has moved his production studio to the south of France, and “In The Dark” is the first track to be fully produced there. The song is moody, yet maintains Lauber’s signature nu-disco danceability. Every single he has released this year points to an incredible future for Roosevelt! Make sure to catch his US West Coast shows in August if you can!

Golden Gate – Shine Like The Sun (The Reflex Revision) [The Disco Express]

For The Disco Express’ 75th release, they gathered an all-star lineup of producers to remix some of the label’s finest recent tracks. The Reflex had Golden Gate‘s excellent disco track “Shine Like The Sun” to work with, and what artist wouldn’t be over the moon getting The Reflex Revision treatment?! All four tracks can’t be missed on this EP!

Jason Herd x Nightlab x Kathy Brown – Win Your Love (J’s Bohemian Disco Mix Extended) [Bohemian Disco]

UK producer Jason Herd launched his Bohemian Disco label last summer and already has the support of industry heavy-hitters with the label’s initial releases. His collaboration with San Francisco’s NIGHTLAB and diva vocalist Kathy Brown guaranteed “Win Your Love” would be a house classic. Not to rest on the laurels of the original, Jason took the remix duties into his own hands with the Bohemian Disco mix, elevating Brown’s vocals into the disco stratosphere!

Sean Scanlan – Whatcha Gonna Do feat. Alexis Victoria Hall (Yam Who? Disco Mix) [Midnight Riot!]

If you want to make sure your party’s dancefloor is full, all you need to do is play Sean Scanlan‘s ‘Whatcha Gonna Do” and watch the sparks fly! Yam Who? gives the track its disco gloss, and Alexis Victoria Hall’s vocals hit at the 3:25 minute mark and send the track into overdrive! Boogie On!

Michael The Lion & Natasha Kitty Katt – I Found Peace feat. Suki Soul (Pontch’s Disco Mix) [Whisky Disco)

“I Found Peace” is a monster collaborative disco track that DJ/producers Michael The Lion and Natasha Kitty Katt found the time in between gigs to create, then recruited in-demand vocalist Suki Soul to bring the lyrics to life. To top it off, Pontchartrain, who we haven’t heard from in quite a while, created the disco mix! If you don’t feel great after hearing this track, then you aren’t paying attention!
