I am going to take a step back from Miami Music Week for a moment to bring to you some music that is going to captivate you on a whole nother level. On the brink MMW, we have been blessed with new music, new record labels and crazy news–some which has left us sick, excited and or scratching our heads, but that is neither here nor there. Someone that has been all over the news, Steve Angello, as there has been speculation that Swedish House Mafia may be making a return at Ultra this weekend as a special guest, again, neither here nor there. However, what is here AND there, on Monday, Steve took to Twitter.
This fans into a frenzy, obviously. Imagine if he had said “FRIDAY”? I think Twitter would have broken thinking he would be playing the Main Stage with Axwell and Ingrosso and who know it may happen. Anyways, over the next day or so, news broke that he would be dropping a single on Thursday, “Nothing Scares Me Anymore”. He provided pre-save links and today, we were blessed with the track.
The track f Size Records is beautifully crafted with the vocals by grammy award winning musician Sam Martin. Sam's voice meshes perfectly with Steve's dark production. Kicking with with a clock tick and violin strings, Sam's melody drops in and delivers a heavenly feel. The progression this track is just wonderful and delivers an almost dark feel that catapultes into a feel good drop sound. This is Steve Angello at his best and the strings throughout this track just make it something mass proportion. One the best productions all around 2018 so far. The guy is a Man amongst Boys. As if that wasn't enough, Steve Angello announced that a full album “HUMAN” will be dropping on April 27. He is gifting it to me for my Birthday (April 26).
