The reunion of Swedish House Mafia has been the largest storyline in dance music so far in 2018. Ever since the group took the stage together for the first time five years at Ultra Miami in March, fans have been calling for a reunion tour. Steve Angello confirmed it during an interview with a Swedish news out a month ago, and since then, excitement has been at a fever pitch level.
This excitement is so palpable it seems that anytime a company uses three of its logos in a row, just as a viral marketing campaign in Miami did to announce the reunion of Swedish House Mafia, it is connected as a potential sign of a coming tour.
While we know that the group will be reuniting officially in 2019, fans are eager to catch a glimpse of Swedish House Mafia on stage together before. Due to many festivals booking both Steve Angello and Axwell//Ingrosso, fans have been praying. During Tomorrowland 2018, 2/3's of the group returned to the same stage and not the 2/3's that has been touring together for five years.
Steve Angello invited Sebastian Ingrosso on stage to play out Swedish House Mafia's iconic anthem, ‘Save the World'. It was a special moment that will be remembered for quite some time. Check out a fan video of the moment below.
