Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman—legends whose names are forever etched in NBA history. If we know anything about basketball, it’s that the 1996 Chicago Bulls championship team was unstoppable, and their legacy still lives on, especially in Chicago.

Now, that legacy is getting a new soundtrack, thanks to a sizzling new edit aptly titled “96 Bullz,”between Chicago’s own Sherm and Florida-based house duo, Rich DietZ.

“96 Bullz” reimagines the iconic Chicago Bulls anthem in a way that’s built for the dancefloor. It’s a rumbling, bass-heavy tech-house banger that captures the energy, grit, and swagger of arguably the greatest basketball team ever.

Sherm shares that “this collab has been a LONG time coming… The energy that we bring as a group is as elevated as MJ’s dunk from the free throw line. It’s as powerful as Dennis Rodman boxing you out and as dominant as Scottie Pippen stealing the ball from you. There is no greater team in basketball than the ‘96 Bulls and we are resurfacing that greatness through this track.”

Rich DietZ adds “we’ve always said Hood Politics Records was like the 96 Bulls. It only felt right to make this track with Mr. Chicago himself, Sherm.”

Beyond music, Sherm’s also gearing up for the inaugural edition of Chicago Music Nexus – created with fellow creative branding and industry influencer Olivia Mancuso. The event will feature notable panelists like Chicago house legend DJ Lady D and Recording Academy Trustee Dani Deahl, and many others, offering a unique platform for artists to build connections, gain knowledge, and advance their music career.
