ROHO’s been building something big—and now it’s finally here. Muscle Memory, the LA-based producer and 3D artist’s debut LP with Nettwerk, is out now. It’s eleven tracks of genre-bending instrumentals wrapped in a visual world that looks like it came straight out of a sci-fi gallery.

This project marks a shift. “I originally had an entirely different tracklist,” ROHO says, “that I scrapped because it was feeling less and less like me.” So what did he do? He went back to his gut—well, more like his fingers. ROHO leaned into his own rhythms, literally using muscle memory from years of finger drumming and playing keys to build out each song. The title came naturally.

The result?

A body of work that hits with both consistency and experimentation. You’ll catch guest appearances from future-soul mainstays like Kiefer and THE KOUNT on “Good Reflexes,” and a Telemakus sample on “Mind Body.” ROHO also produced the entirety of Huey Briss’ new album Everything and Nothing, and word is he’s got more collaborations on deck.

ROHO’s known for his 3D design work with names like Dreamville, Yussef Dayes, and Def Jam, and this time around, he built the entire visual world himself using Blender. The star? A recurring character in a space suit that fans might recognize from the Footsteps EP visuals.

Why the space suit? “It gives the character the right attire to explore unfamiliar scenes,” he explains. “And it also lets anyone imagine themselves in it since it hides any personal features.” It’s sleek, it’s emotional, and it’s all colored in these deep, metallic ocean blues that make each animation feel like it’s floating.

So whether you’re deep into beat culture, a visual art nerd, or just want something fresh in your rotation, Muscle Memory delivers. And yeah, it slaps.
