We’re proud to be welcoming ÜNAM and Mutul to the Magnetic Magazine Recordings artist roster this week!
They debut with “Cosmic Glue”, a spaced-out deep house track highlighted by fluttering piano keys and a stuttering baseline that would feel right at home at any main stage. In ÜNAM’s words, the track “captures the awe-inspiring vastness of the universe and its intricate, interconnected nature. For me, the song evokes an express the sense of unity between all, reminding that we are all bound together by the invisible threads of existence or cosmic glue.”
ÜNAM is a Spanish DJ and producer who identifies himself as a “magic sound crafter.” He’s known for his releases with Shango Records, WAYU Records, Cafe de Anatolia, and many more incredible house labels, and is one of the minds behind The Magic Sun label. He’s the host of “The Magic Sun Cast,” where he invites one of his friends to provide an hour-long mix for each episode. He also provides production lessons and masterclasses to up-and-coming DJs and producers.
Mutul is one of the artists who has released on The Magic Sun, and is also known for his releases on Bar 25, Seven Villas, and Dream Culture. His music, as he says, has a “lens on afro percussion and experimentation with his own vocals during productions and composing phases.” He’s an eight-year veteran of the studio and has been on a prolific pace in the past few years.
