We’ve been absolutely loving “Better Days” by Seizmic ever since it dropped on our label last month. Now, there’s even more to sink into!
Next week, we’re proudly welcoming Midwestern U.S.-based producer Entel to Magnetic Magazine Recordings with his spin on the instant classic. A rising talent from Columbus, Ohio, Entel’s background spans from traditional studio setups to in-the-box production, where he developed a passion for creating unique sounds through synthesis. His remix takes the laidback original and gives it an upbeat progressive house refinish that would sound right at home on a main stage.
Entel’s version retains the catchy vocal sample and melodies of Seizmic’s original but injects a fresh energy that’s sure to appeal to both progressive house and techno fans. Known for drawing inspiration from a blend of artists like Grum, Fehrplay, and even genre-crossing acts like Khruangbin and Flying Lotus, Entel’s productions have always focused on melodic elements that strike an emotional chord.
This remix is no exception and shouldn’t be missed by anyone who’s had the original on repeat. Keep an eye out for more exciting material from Entel as he prepares to take his sound on the road.
Listen to the track below, pre-order it here, and come back for the full release next week!
