Following the news that Pioneer and Native Instruments were working together on the new version Traktor, Pioneer DJ has ficially announced that a selection DJM mixers will be compatible with Traktor support.
In their , Pioneer DJ claimed that the move was a part an "initiative to evaluate products from other companies and certify them as compatible with our DJ gear." Further solidifying their partnership with Native Instrument and their Traktor products, the Pioneer mixers DJM-TOUR1, DJM-750MK2, DJM-450 and the DJM-250MK2 have all been updated with firmware which makes them compatible with Traktor DVS control setups.
With the new update, owners these DJM mixer models can now use Traktor Scratch Pro or Traktor Scratch Pro 2 anytime and anywhere for "seamless compatibility and intuitive performance PC/Mac–USB connection."
