Above & Beyond – Is It Love (1001)
Hot on the heels their massive ABGT250 later last year, Above & Beyond are back with their latest ‘Is It Love‘. It picks up its theme from ‘‘ which released last year ahead the marquee event. Other treats from the album Common Ground are ‘Tightrope‘ and ‘My Own Hymn‘, both which came out last year in that order.
Pete Tong premiered the track on his BBC Radio 1 show and needless to say it sounds like an instant classic. A tune that has a core deep bassline and moves along ever so smoothly is a prefect recipe for some soul-touching music. Credit to them, over the years A&B seem to have mastered that art by replicating cult tunes. ‘‘ and ‘‘ to name a couple. ‘Is It Love‘ is no different and is the perfect tune for a morning on the beach.
