Ugandan festival Nyege Nyege has revealed its full line-up for this year's edition, which will take place from September 5 - 8 at Nile Discovery Beach in Jinja, Uganda.

Entering its fifth edition, over 300 performers will come from over 30 countries and play across five stage. While this year's festival maintains a large continent-wide African contingent, it shifts its focus 'towards Asia and the African diaspora' - the festival has invited Chinese acts Kilo Vee, Hyph11e, Gooooose and 33EMYBW, while Japanese alternative hip-hop and breakcore artists, DJ Scotch Egg and DJ Die Soon also make an appearance.

Representing the African diaspora in America and Europe are: techno lynchpin Juan Atkins, Chicago-based footwork producer EQ Why, American DJ Suzi Analogue (who has served as a cultural diplomat for the USA in Uganda), New York-based Discwoman affiliate Shyboi, British selector Josey Rebelle (pictured), Belgium's DTM Funk, French 'Frap-Core' innovator Moesha13, Cologese-Swiss artist Bonaventure (who is conducting a two-month residency at Boutiq Studios with vocal artist Rey Sapienz) and Dutch Nyege Nyege resident, DJ Marcelle.

The festival also showcases many artists that have released music on the festival's Nyege Nyege Tapes and Hakuna Kulala labels, such as Duke & MCZO, Jako Maron, Jay Mitta, MC Yallah, Rey Sapienz, Sisso, Slikback and more.
